The Newhurst Singers, a small group from within the choir, have developed over the last few years. The group add contrast to the main choir and this enables Margaret to undertake ever more ambitious and varied programmes.
The Newhurst Singers are available for all occasions where a smaller number of singers are required. They have a varied repertoire ranging from early music through swing and show songs to contemporary music.
Their most recent performmance has been a light-hearted Christmas 2011 entertainment for the East Glos Tennis Club, together with baritone John Qualtrough.
